Hardee's/Bass Pro Shops - "Outdoor Adventure" Second Chance Drawing

Compared to what I had been winning in November, I haven't been having much luck with wins.  And since I started entering snailmail sweepstakes, I hadn't won anything, either.

Today I lookoutside and there's a reeeeeally tall box on the doorstep addressed to me, from Bass Pro Shops.  I know I'm not waiting on any wins (other than Snickers bars and a gym membership) and I also didn't get a FedEx notice that I had a package coming (I think I'd be more surprised if FedEx managed to do  anything right).

But anyway.... in the box was a Bass Pro Shops 6'6" Enticer Spinning Rod and Reel (ARV $49.99).  I definitely don't know much about fishing and fishing supplies, but I would actually like to fish in the future, so awesome!  AND.... it was a snailmail sweepstakes win!

I don't feel like taking an actual picture, so here's what it looks like.... but taller, lol.

Post "Health On Track" Instant Win Sweepstakes Winner

A couple weeks ago there was a sweepstakes where you either had to buy a product or mail in for a code.  Well, turns out.... the codes aren't unique.  I got two back with the same code.  So you can enter a code, submit it, click back, submit, click back, etc... basically as long as you feel like doing it until you win something.  If that ever happens.  Me with my TERRIBLE luck with instant wins, I gave it a shot like 50-100 times and didn't win anything.

Yesterday I was going through e-mails and saw that.  I figured "Eh, may as well enter 20 times real quick".  After 20 times, I hadn't won anything.  I wondered if I might have counted a back click as an entry click, so I decided to enter 5 more times.... just because!  On the 4th, I got the following screen:

This prize is 1 of 100 of this type and it's valued at $599... far more than any of the other available instant prizes.  So awesome!  Especially since I hadn't really planned on entering and chose to do an extra 5 "just in case".

Riiviva Microderm Kit Winner

 photo a7380da5-b1b4-416a-bc31-6e68abca0eff_zps990609af.png

Man, I can't believe it has been this long since I have won anything decent!  I don't think a movie download and a used book is going to cut it, haha.

Night before last, on 12/7 (just after midnight), I got an e-mail that I won a Riiviva Microderm Kit from a Blog.  It's valued at $300!  Awesome!  I had NO idea what it was, other than that it was for skincare.

From the website:

"As we age, the skin cell turnover rate slows down, often leaving the skin looking dull and rough. Microdermabrasion removes the outer layer by gently polishing the skin with a high quality diamond tip while vacuuming the loosened skin cells away into its filter canister. Removing this outer layer of skin results in a smoother softer texture, enhances skin brightness, and improves dry dull skin.

Microdermabrasion is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sunspots, mild acne and scarring, stretch marks, keratosis pilaris, and improving the look of rough and bumpy skin."

I don't really have problematic skin on my face, but I do have keratosis pilaris on the back of my upper arms, so I'll use it for that.  And just for general skin softening on my face.  Plus, it's winter, so I'm sure it will be well used!

Precision Kitchenware November Sweepstakes Winner

I received an e-mail today at 4:59pm that I won one of twenty Precision Kitchenware Dual Julienne/Vegetable Peelers.  It's $35 on Amazon, so that's quite nice!  They gave me a code to use on Amazon, which was SUPER easy and it's all ordered and ready to be shipped!  Very cool.

It's rather sturdy looking.  I guess one side is for peeling and one side is for julienne-ing (is that even a word?).

Apryl Sells Avon - Win $30 of Avon Products (Winners Choice) Winner

I never expect to receive winning notifications on the weekends, so it's always nice when I do - especially when my last win was almost a week ago!

I received an e-mail tonight (11/24/2013) at 3:40pm that I won $30 worth of Avon products of my choosing.  I was instructed to choose which item(s) that I wanted, totaling $30, and e-mail the product codes and my address.  There's so much to choose from.... some items I wanted cost more than $30 and other items weren't available.  I settled for:

The Autumn Colors Drop Necklace ($19.99):

AND....
Shredding Scissors ($9.99)

I figured the scissors (even though they're shown as cutting paper) would be good for cutting herbs.  That or I... use them to cut paper!  :)

Logitech - Study On Your Terms Sweepstakes Winner

The same evening that I won the Hobbit sweepstakes (11/18/2013), I got an e-mail (at 6:03pm) that I won second prize in the Logitech - Study On Your Terms Sweepstakes, which consisted of my choice of one of the following products:

•   Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for iPad or iPad mini
•   Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
•   Folio Protective Case for iPad or iPad mini
•   Folio Protective Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
•   Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad or iPad mini
•   FabricSkin Keyboard Folio for iPad

The first prize, which I didn't win, also included a $500 gift card so you could buy a tablet of your choosing.  I have tablets, but none of those.... so I am giving it to my mom for Christmas.  I chose the FabricSkin Keyboard Folio, which costs $150.  It looks really nice!  I wish they were compatible with my Nexus devices so that I could keep it.  But either way, hopefully my mom actually uses it.  She uses her iPad all the time, but who knows if she'll use the keyboard.

I'll still get her something else for Christmas, though.... she knows about it (I wanted to see if she would use it), so I can't exactly pretend that I bought it, haha.  Unlike other members of my family, I shop based on what I spent, not what it is worth.

Also with this one, I had to send back an eligibility statement/release.  And they didn't follow-up.  Oh wait, just checked their Facebook page and they had posted something saying:

"Congratulations to the winners of our Work, Create, Study On Your Terms Pinterest Sweepstakes! Enjoy your prizes, Pam H., Lisa S., Janette O., Holli J., Alessio A., Sandy K., Jay E., Lori B., Sandie A., and Elyssa E."

Guess they got it!  ;)  Will update with pics once I get it.

Amazon.com The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition on Blu-ray Sweepstakes Winner

Since I started entering sweepstakes, I have been leaving my phone ringer on as much as possible so that I don't miss any "winner" calls.  And one of the rare times it's on silent, what happens?  I miss a call (on 11/18/2013).  Luckily they left me a message and also immediately sent an e-mail, telling me I was one of the First Prize winner of the Amazon.com The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition on Blu-ray Sweepstakes.  This prize consists of the following:

-- The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (ARV $109.98)

I had to print and sign and eligibility statement and send it in, which I did immediately.  I didn't get any follow-up response, which always concerns me, but hopefully everything was received and is being processed.  Will post pictures once I receive the win in the mail!  :)

(I had to edit this because I was mistaken in thinking that I won the Grand Prize.  When I listened to the voicemail again, it did say First Prize.  I looked at the rules and saw that someone else was listed as the Grand Prize winner and almost flipped out, thinking they didn't get my reply.  Then I saw "Holli" in the list of First Prize winners and was confused.  So I listened the voicemail again and sure enough.... That sucks!  But the Grand Prize wasn't that much different - it had an autographed poster and extended edition of The Hobbit)
